Thank you to all the union members that took the time to swing by the first in-person union event since the pandemic started. Special thanks to the Picnic Planning Committee for their time and effort coordinating such a fun event. Everything about the picnic was planned meticulously and executed perfectly. Adam Recio, chair of the Picnic Planning Committee, chose a great team in Maritza Alvarado and Mayra Huerta. Adam and Maritza are veteran event coordinators, but Mayra is a new member, when asked to be a part of the Picnic Planning Committee she eagerly joined and instantly began suggesting ideas. This eagerness and jovial energy is the embodiment of what it means to be a Local 830 member. Hope you can make our bowling event in September! More details to come.
